Tips to Combat Cellulite

Good Morning Friends,
One of the first topics we want to tackle with you today is a problem that most of us women worry about with the arrival of summer: Cellulite. To counteract the unsightly orange peel effect, they are followed by simple, integrated advice regarding nutrition, physical activity, and skincare.
1) Nutrition
It is important to follow a balanced diet favoring the consumption of fruit and vegetables (overall at least 5 portions a day); of white meat such as chicken and turkey; beverages (unsweetened), made from green tea, birch, or fennel, with well known purifying properties; of carbohydrates deriving from whole wheat flour and at least 1.5 L per day of natural water, low in sodium and with low fixed residue, to promote diuresis.

2) Physical Activity
A very important ally to counteract water retention, which we remember to be one of the main factors responsible for cellulite, is physical movement. It is not necessary to come across exhausting sessions in the gym immediately to make up for a winter that is a little too sedentary, but we suggest you start with 30 minutes of physical, even as light as a quick walk, provided you do it consistently.

3) Skin Care
Cosmetics help us to improve the typical irregular appearance of skin affected by cellulite. There are many products on the market, but also, in this case, nature is our best ally. In fact, we want to talk about organic oils that have naturally smoothing, firming, and draining properties and therefore are ideal for use in intensive anti-cellulite massages. Organic oils are obtained by cold pressing, and therefore do not alter the concentrations of fatty acids, vitamins, and mineral salts. Being similar to the skin, they are absorbed more easily, also acting as a carrier for the other active substances in counteracting the unsightly effects of cellulite.

In this regard, it is worth mentioning the Weleda Birch Oil, whose excellent results against cellulite blemishes are concrete and have been proven through dermatological studies. You will find it in a special offer on ToBeOrganic.
Keep in mind: one of the most important pieces of advice we can give, and perhaps the most difficult one to respect is this; to get concrete results the first thing you must do is be consistent.

Goji Berries, “The Berries of Long Life”

Today we want to talk about the remarkable virtues of Goji berries. It is a red berry native to Tibet, until recently almost unknown in Italy, but which recently is catching more and more attention for its strong antioxidant and beneficial properties for the body. Goji are, in fact, also called “berries of long life”.

These have an intense antioxidant action, they stimulate the immune system, and promote the general metabolism.

They have the advantage of having a low glycemic index, which makes them suitable to be taken during the day as an alternative to sweet and savory snacks. They have a pleasant, sweetish taste even with a low caloric intake.

Goji  is a real panacea for the well being of the body and skin. As always, however, we recommend those of biological origin whose cultivation respects the most stringent qualifications of naturalness.

At the skin level, its antioxidant and detoxifying properties intensively help dry and dehydrated skin, counteracting skin aging caused by cellular oxidation.

It is worth noting, the organic line of SANTE is based on these precious biologically grown berries. In particular, we recommend the BioGoji face cream, based on goji, aloe vera, almond oil, and Passion flowercultivated organically. These creams, in addition to being eco bio, are certified by Natrue and by BDIH, they are vegan and gluten-free.
