Lovers of mineral waters that are low in sodium, minimally mineralized with a fixed residue <50mg, suitable for feeding children, surely know about Acqua Sant’Anna Di Vinadio, one of the best selling brands of so-called water sold in large retailers.
Not everyone is aware, however, that on the shelves of the Carreful supermarket chain there is a water called “Cime Bianche” with the Carreful brand that flows from the same source of Sant’Anna di Dinadio water and that has very similar physical chemical characteristics.
The water is in fact the same; same source of Vinadio (CN), the only substantial difference is the height at which the water is taken. Sant’Anna is sourced at 1,503 meters, while for Cime Bianche it is at 1,380 meters.
Normally, the higher the source the greater purity of the water, but, in this case, the difference at the source is only 123 meters. For the rest of the parameters are very similar with a fixed residue.
The price instead of Cime Bianche Carreful is about 28% lower than that of Sant’Anna di Vinadio.
